Four types of strategic questions
Consulting assignments are rarely identical. However, most questions we receive fall into one of four categories.
.webp)
Car policy & TCO
Decisions about your car policy and the underlying cost structure.
Typical questions:
How do I create a car policy that fits our employees, cost structure, company culture, HR strategy, etc.?
How do I calculate the effective TCO for our fleet in line with current legislation?
Which charging procedures should I include in a car policy?
Electrification
The transition to electric driving.
What this includes:
Which charging strategy suits our home, work, and on-the-go situations?
How do I implement the Federal Mobility Budget in our company?
A charging station at my employees' homes. Who will pay for that?

.webp)
Supplier selection
Objective selection and onboarding of new fleet and mobility partners.
Typical questions:
How do I select a new leasing company or charging partner?
How do I structure an RFP and evaluate complex proposals?
How do I onboard a new partner without internal disruption and account for the impact on my company's Finance, HR, and Facilities departments?
Mobility
A single coherent policy across multiple locations and countries.
Typical questions:
How do I start drafting a mobility policy?
How do I implement the Federal Mobility Budget in our company?
What forms of mobility should I allow within my company: Pillar 1 vehicle / alternative mobility in Pillar 2?

Who is this for?
Do you recognise these pain points?
Consulting assignments have no minimum fleet size. What our clients have in common is a concrete decision that needs to be made now. The most common scenarios we encounter are:
You are facing a decision regarding the electrification of your vehicle fleet
Your procedures are no longer up to date with rapidly changing market trends
You want to implement the Federal Mobility Budget and don't know where to begin
Your organisation has multiple locations with separate car policies, and you want to harmonise them
You are considering choosing a new supplier and want to approach it objectively, or you're unsure what to look for
You have a specific strategic question that needs a one-time investigation
The process
From inquiry to decision
Scoping
No empty promises, just practical solutions. We clarify the request and translate it into a concrete assignment with clear objectives, budget, and timing.
Duration: one to two meetings.
Analysis
We gather the facts: your current situation, relevant market data, and possible scenarios. We work with your own data and our market knowledge to provide you with a well-founded picture of your position.
Duration: typically 3–6 weeks depending on scope.
Recommendation
Based on the analysis, we formulate a concrete recommendation. Pros and cons are clearly articulated, a preferred option is supported by figures, and an implementation plan is provided. You make the decision; we ensure it's well-founded.
Scheduled consultation
Scheduled consultation
If desired, our Consulting & Project Manager will guide the implementation until the new situation is established. For Fleet Management clients, this seamlessly transitions into daily follow-up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions we often hear
A selection of questions prospects ask in initial discussions. Can't find your question? Feel free to ask it directly via our contact form.
Do we also need to purchase Fleet Management from you to utilise Consulting services?
No. Consulting engagements are entirely separate from Fleet Management. Many organisations engage us exclusively for a specific project or strategic advisory process.
How long does a typical consulting engagement last?
That depends on the scope and complexity of the assignment. We tailor our approach to your objectives, available resources, and internal decision-making.
What does consulting cost?
That depends on the nature of the assignment. Some engagements are offered as projects, others on a daily or hourly rate basis. After an initial consultation, you will always receive a transparent, tailored proposal.
Do you also work for international organisations?
TraXall Belgium specialises in the Belgian market. For international projects, we collaborate with the broader TraXall network, where each country has its own local experts. For international support, we are happy to refer you to TraXall International.
What if we want to handle the implementation ourselves?
You can. You will then receive the recommendation and the implementation plan, and carry it out internally. We are available afterwards for questions or adjustments if you need them.
Have a strategic question you'd like to discuss?
A first scoping meeting takes about 30 minutes and provides a clear picture of how we would approach your request and what a project would entail.
