Result
A structured transition, positive driver experience, and a strong foundation for the future
The challenge

A fleet of 900 vehicles requires more than just operational support.

Lineas, Europe's largest private rail freight operator, is strongly committed to sustainability and further greening its mobility policy.

In addition to a mobility budget for employees, the vehicle fleet has also undergone significant evolution in recent years. To address future challenges related to mobility, electrification, and market developments, Lineas sought a new fleet management partner.

Crucially, this not only involved expertise but also the capacity to guide a large-scale implementation in a structured manner while ensuring a positive experience for drivers.

The solution

An intensive implementation process with a focus on continuity.

01
Analysis of processes and needs

During the selection process, TraXall impressed with a structured approach and a clear vision for the future of fleet management. Together with Lineas, existing processes were analyzed and opportunities for optimization were identified.

02
Implementation of new tools and processes

For three months, both teams worked intensively together on the transition to the new fleet management model. The focus was on a controlled implementation where processes were aligned and made operationally viable.

03
Driver support

In addition to the operational transition, special attention was paid to the driver user experience. Tools such as the TraXall Car Configurator and Driver Portal simplify and make the ordering and management process more transparent.

04
Launch of strategic and operational management

After the implementation phase, the collaboration continued through operational fleet management, strategic account management, and multi-bidding for new vehicle orders.

Projects requiring more follow-up are now integrated into daily management.

The result

Launched in three months, and drivers are immediately satisfied.

Structure
A controlled implementation in 3 months
Ease of Use
Positive feedback on Car Configurator and Driver Portal
Trust
Strong collaboration between both teams
Future-oriented
A solid foundation for further optimization

After implementation, the first ordering processes were successfully initiated, and Lineas received positive feedback from drivers about the new tools and working methods.

Additionally, the project created a strong foundation for the further professionalization of fleet management and future mobility initiatives.

"We've had a very intense implementation period, working together for three months towards that single launch moment. Meanwhile, the first ordering processes have started, and I'm only hearing positive feedback from our drivers."
